Jul. 22, 2012 : we are home from a great 8 day vacation. We loved staying at the Rathbone. we met some great people. Pat is so welcoming, just coming visiting an old friend. We are now fans of cheesy grits with greens! the pool was great, I think we spent three hours each day in it a least, rain or shine! We can't wait for our next visit. And by the way pat, I need some makeup tips!!!!! Love Dave and Linda

Jul. 12, 2012 : I just got back from my stay here on Saturday and I have never been more sad to leave a place. My boyfriend and I took our first vacation together here and had a truly magical trip! We stayed in the Rathbone 2 and had an amazing King size room (which Pat upgraded) that opened up into a lovely courtyard that was peaceful and secluded. We had but to cross the road and there was a beautiful salt water pool and hot tub with a nice cabana that we enjoyed numerous times! And the best part you might ask? The Staff! Dawn is a sweet local who will go out oh her way to help and is more than willing to give you the inside to New Orleans on her free time, all the staff was attentive and ready to help, the room was always cleaned without being intrusive, and Pat was more than willing to accomadate anything that was needed! It was a wonderful stay close enough to walk to the quarter, yet far enough to allow a little peace and quiet and the mansion themselves are a charming piece of New Orleans culture!

Jul. 6, 2012 : my husband and I very much enjoyed our stay here. We have pets and all 3 of our dogs (check pet policy for size because I am not sure about that ours are all small)were welcome to stay with us for a $50.oo fee. our room was amazing we was in room 115 and I would consider that it was a suite. The courtyard was great for the dogs to run around in. Rathbone is about 3 blocks outside of the french quarter but it is not a bad walk at all and I never felt unsafe when walking back at night I would recommed walking down Esplanda instead of rampart. I did not get to spend as much time as I would have liked to with Pat and that was my fault, I had a pretty time sensetive agenda. we did eat breafast there on Sunday and it was a yummy breakfast casserole. I would so stay here again even if it wasn't for the pet freindly policy. Thanks to Pat and the rest of the staff for making our stay very pleasant. shirley boston

Jun. 28, 2012 : Looking to book a room again soon! I was here back in Jan 2012 and Pat is the best hotel manager that I have ever come across in all my years. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is wonderful and every guest I met were so friendly and they shared so much about themselves. It was such a great experience that I look forward to returning to soon!

Jun. 24, 2012 : We stayed here on our first ever trip to New Orleans. The B&B is quaint and a little quirky with lots of charm. We checked in after hours (very easy) and were very impressed with the size and condition of our "standard" room but the A.C. in our room was acting up which made it a little difficult to sleep the first night. We went to breakfast the second morning expecting your typical continental breakfast and were pleasantly surprised with a delicious home cooked breakfast prepared for each individual guest by the incredibly friendly welcoming staff. After breakfast we asked about our A.C. and without question or hesitation we were moved to a new (upgraded) room. The staff was so warm and accommodating; they knew all the best places to go and how to get there; they were completely focused on the comfort and wellbeing of their guests. The Rathbone is in a great location if you want to be within walking distance of the French Quarter, Bourbon Street and the Cemetery (itís about a 10 min walk to all of these places)but still far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet while you want to sleep. We are already planning our next trip and will be staying here again!
