Every room or suite at Rathbone Mansions Hotel in New Orleans has a mini fridge, microwave, TV, coffee machine, memory foam mattresses, hair dryer, iron and free high speed wifi. Some rooms and suites also have kitchenettes and balconies overlooking Esplanade Avenue or our lush courtyard. In addition Rathbone Mansions Hotel is the ideal vacation spot in New Orleans with a pool, hot tub, and self serve bar area. Complimentary continental breakfast is service every day in addition to free coffee, filtered water, and tea. Nightly, off street parking in our 5 car gated parking lot is available for a small fee. Located just a few blocks from the French Quarter and Frenchman Street this NOLA hotel is centrally located to explore all New Orleans has to offer tourists.

Relax after a day of sightseeing by taking a dip in our refreshing pool or a rest in the hot tub. Next to the pool there is a large self-serve bar and seating area available for guests of both mansions to enjoy.

 

*Please note there is no lifeguard on duty and we do not have a liquor license. The bar is entirely self-serve for the guests.

COVID Update: We have suspended continental breakfast but have fresh, filtered water, fruit and granola bars available to guests 24 hours a da in each lobby.   

There are a 4 on-site parking spots behind the Mansions at 1244 Esplanade available per day (book them early!) but free street parking is also available along Esplanade Avenue.

Each room comes equipped with a flat screen TV,  toiletries, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. All rooms have mini fridges and microwaves for your convenience and some have kitchenette sinks. Individual climate control and ceiling fans help keep the rooms comfortable while complimentary wireless service means you'll be able to connect when you want.

 

*NOTE: Every room is accessible by stairs - we do not have an elevator or staff to help with luggage. But the higher you go the better the views!

It's no secret that some hotel shampoos and soaps make you dry and itchy. We promise ours don't! We are happy to offer our guests a selection of Beekman 1802 shampoo, conditioner, and body washes. Beekman 1802 products are made with all natural ingredients, no parabens, no banned phthalates, no petroleum, no paraffin, no diethanolamine, and no mineral oil. Cruelty Free – never tested on animals. And they are Made in USA.

 

All of our guest rooms have private bathrooms.
