Rathbone Mansions is two separate pre-Civil War mansions built in the mid 1800's.
When the mansions were converted to a hotel, no two rooms were made alike, each having their own unique character. Our windows are old, and the hardwood floors might sometimes squeak. We operate in a similar manner to a good vacation rental; while there are generally staff around we aren't a full service property. Front desk hours vary but, as a guest, you have full access at all times to the lobby. The hot tub and pool area close at midnight to maintain the quiet in the lovely residential neighborhood of Treme that we call home. We are now offering coffee and tea service with a limited grab and go style breakfast to help start your day off right to explore beautiful New Orleans.
