Hotel Policies

Check in is 3pm. Early check-in is 1pm, and can be applied 24 hours in advance for a fee of $20.

Check out is 11am. Late check out is 1pm, and can be applied for a fee of $20 if available. Check outs later than 1pm will be billed for a full night.

All rooms are NON-SMOKING. Smoking is only allowed in common areas outside and on private balconies. The use of Tobacco, Marijuana, vaping, cigars, candles or incense is strictly forbidden in guest rooms. There is a $250 cleaning fee that will be charged immediately for any of the above being burned in guest rooms.

There is no elevator. Most of our rooms are accessible by stairs within the mansions or on the exterior. There is no staff to help with luggage but the higher you go the better the views!

The pool and hot tub area closes at Midnight and re-opens at 7am. There is no lifeguard on duty swimming is at your own risk. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by adult at all times. Due to Coivd-19 there can be no more than 10 people in the pool area at anytime. Pool is for registered guests only. No parties or outside guests allowed.

Pets are allowed in select rooms. There is a non-refundable $50 cleaning fee per pet per stay. Please contact the hotel in advance of your stay to request a pet friendly room.

A valid picture ID and credit card must be presented upon check-in. You must have a valid picture ID and the credit card used when booking. If you are unable to present the same card, a hold may be placed for the entire amount of your stay on the card presented.

Parking. We offer limited private parking for a fee of $20 per night. Street parking is free and readily available on Esplanade Ave and surrounding streets.

Must be 21 years of age or older to register.

Late Check-in: We do not have a 24 hour front desk but you can check in anytime! If you anticipate arriving past 4pm please email or call us and we'll be happy to provide you with detailed check-in instructions.  

 
 
 

Privacy

The information received by Rathbone Mansions will be kept confidential. Your information will never be given or sold to a third party. We only ask for an email address to provide registration confirmation, communicate instructions regarding check-in, room door codes, etc. 

 
 
 

deposits

The first night plus tax deposit will be charged to hold your reservation. The balance will be charged 48 hours prior to your arrival date.UNLESS it is a holiday or festival weekend (see below).

Advanced purchase reservations will be charged 100% upon booking.

During festivals and holiday weekends we require a $100 security deposit for your stay. The hold will be released 24 hours after check out and if no damages are incurred during your stay.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made less than two (2) days prior to the arrival date will incur a 100% charge. This also applies to inclement weather situations. Come rain or shine! 

Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to the date of arrival will be refunded in full. Festivals and Holidays require 14 day cancellation prior to arrival to be refunded in full.

Advance purchase and non-refundable bookings will incur 100% of booking costs. No refunds or changes allowed. This also applies to cancelled flights and inclement weather.

NOTE: There are no refunds for early check outs and “no shows”. We do not offer refunds on parking.
